The ARPKD/CHF Alliance strongly believes that an investment in
medical research is an investment in the future. Research will
provide important information about Autosomal Recessive Polycystic
Kidney Disease and Congenital Hepatic Fibrosis.
The ARPKD/CHF Alliance initiated the largest clinical research study
to date: “Clinical Investigations into ARPKD/CHF” and recently
funded research at the University of Pennsylvania to identify the
underlining mechanism of CHF. The latter was a direct result of
generous donations provided by people like yourself; individuals who
want to make a difference. Investment towards research and the
future enables the ARPKD/CHF Alliance to generate more research,
education, and advocate on behalf of this disease. There is an
urgent need now, and I’m personally asking for your help. Please
consider supporting the ARPKD/CHF Alliance.

When my child was born…
My child was diagnosed with Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney
Disease (ARPKD) and Congenital Hepatic Fibrosis (CHF) at _____ weeks
of age.
ARPKD/CHF is primarily a children’s disorder that causes high infant
mortality and chronic and progressive kidney and liver disease.
Securing funds for research, education and advocacy is critical for
the patient population who face the daily challenge of living with
ARPKD/CHF. Resources and research generated and provided by the
ARPKD/CHF Alliance enable patients and families to live a better
life.
The ARPKD/CHF Alliance was created with the purpose of
improving the lives of those affected, and is a 501(c)(3), public
charity. All goals focus on patient needs. The ARPKD/CHF Alliance
has been a powerful advocate for the patient community, creating
research, education, and a voice for this disease.
The need is urgent to raise funds in order to fund research in

Dear Family and Friends,
More than ____ years ago my child was diagnosed with ARPKD/CHF (Autosomal
Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease and Congenital Hepatic
Fibrosis). In that time…possibly add 1-2 more paragraphs.
No resource has better served our family than the ARPKD/CHF
Alliance, the only organization solely committed to our child’s
disorder. They have an extensive website and changed the landscape
for this disease by generating medical interest and research. Their
work is not done and there is much to do. This is a call to action!
Please help the ARPKD/CHF Alliance by supporting them with a
