Second child: Remi Elaine, birthdate 2/2/06, diagnosed at 34 weeks
pregnancy, no amniotic fluid, born at 37 weeks. Natural birth,
intubated for 4 weeks, C-PAP & Canula for 2 weeks, breathed on her
own for a month and half & re-intubated last week of life, double
nephrectomy at one week of age, peritoneal dialysis for 3 months,
CVVH/hemodialysis for 1 week, chylous ascites (lymphatic vessel)
and additional ascites suspected from liver involvement,
peritonitis, 3 surgeries.
Birth-4 weeks: intubated
Week 4-6: CPAP & Canula
Week 6-12: breathed room air on her own/no assistance
Week 13: re-intubated
Passed away on 5/6/2006 due to liver failure.
