Renowned PKD Expert and Researcher Joins the ARPKD/CHF Alliance's Professional Advisory Board

The ARPKD/CHF Alliance welcomes Dr. Ellis Avner to the ARPKD/CHF Alliance's Professional Advisory Board.  Dr. Avner is well known in the PKD community as both a researcher and clinician.  He is director at the Children's Kidney Disease Research Program at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, which works closely with the PKD Clinic at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.  This clinic is solely devoted to the multidisciplinary, diagnosis and comprehensive treatment of children with suspected or known pediatric ARPKD or ADPKD.  It includes Nephrologists, Hepatologists, Geneticists/Genetic counselors, and a specialized team of pediatric nurse specialists, dieticians, social workers, and behavioral health specialists.
